Place the cell phone on a table with the screen facing up. Place a desk lamp 10 to 12 inches from the cell phone. Turn the lamp on. The heat that is produced from the bulb will dry the phone. Moisture will appear on the inside of the phone. Keep the phone under the hot lamp until all the moisture has cleared from the screen. This may take 30 minutes to a few hours depending on how much water is in your phone. DO NOT LEAVE THE PHONE UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME while using the lamp to dry the phone. Once the moisture is gone, go on to the next step.
